Smartpaste is very nice to work with!A little technical feedback: some times the incoming, merged class showes dashed and i can’t find out when it happens exactly.. this happens ¬†eventhough none of the classes are in dashed attributes, neither appointed from incoming file nor the one to merge it with…

it seems that the problem is related to copy/paste of groups, but to un-group before using SmartPaste solves the issue. Thanks

Hi, glad to hear you find SmartPaste useful! about the issue you describe: it is known that Vectorworks has issues with long names used for classes or layers (or anything else), so I am wondering wether the dashed names happen to be caused by very long names? on the other hand, the dashes are meant to create nesting in the class organisation, so this could be related to copy/paste nested objects (groups or symbols). It would be very helpful if you could send me some screenshots of when this happens again, so that I can get better understanding.
